It wouldn’t be an overstatement if I say that a major credit for all the good personality traits in me goes to my years in Mother Teresa school. Being a Teresian right from my foundation years built me up in countless ways. I joined the school in class 5th 2004 and continued till I passed class 12th. The constant motivation, diligent academic training, Inspiration for righteousness , exposure to plethora of extracurricular activities brings a holistic development in a child’s life. I can not appreciate enough the greatest quality classroom teachings, the moral science lectures by principal sir, the magnificent annual functions, the visits to local colleges to gain an exposure of professional education, the picnics, the exams, the competitions. There are countless things to remember, to appreciate. I felt seen, acknowledged and appreciated by the Teresian family who brought my potential to its full use and have carved me into who I am today. I work as a Consultant and Eye surgeon (Ophthalmologist ) In Vedanta Netralaya Noida and also provide teleconsultations via E sanjeevni. I put my creative side to work through my social media channel @missophthal. I sing, I travel and pursue life with a smile on my face and politeness in my voice because that’s how my teachers Lived their lives. I remember them in everything I do especially our principal sir Mr. MJ James whose guidance has bloomed us into worthy individuals.

I spent 13 incredible years at Mother Teresa School and it remains an experience closest to my heart. Looking back, I deeply appreciate every lesson learned, every word of guidance, and even the occasional scolding—it all shaped me into the person I am today. The school provided a strong foundation, instilling in me discipline, confidence, and a love for learning. The discipline, patience, and humility I cultivated as a Teresian have been my guiding principles, helping me stay grounded and focused even in the most challenging situations.

At the age of 8 I became a Teresian. Terrified and cold I stepped into the school, not knowing what would happen. But today I do know how my caring teachers, my Principal sir and all my loving mentors made me what I’m today. MTSS is very close to my heart; the memories of my life with my school friends, the enthusiasm of sports and cultural events, in short, the entire environment of education and all…Oh! how quickly these long ten years went by adding up memories after memories, enjoying the art of learning/life.
